The Task
We work with Addleshaw Goddard to attract graduate talent, managing their media marketing strategy and podcasting campaigns. They are keen to utilise innovation to ensure they remain ahead of the competition from other Law firms for talent, but also want to reflect their unique culture by finding a fun and unique way for candidates to relate their experiences to them.
Action
The VOX BOX is a completely innovative trainee recruitment tool designed to bring Web 2.0 and event activity together in a coherent strategy. A free-standing video booth where students can enter and be filmed expressing their views, the VOX BOX allows Addleshaw Goddard to hear directly from the people they’re looking to attract. Footage is then streamed in vodcasts and on their careers site, effectively providing a video based forum for Law graduates and future trainees.
Results
The VOX BOX has now toured several high profile University Law Fairs, and footfall at the Addleshaw Goddard stands has greatly increased. Over 150 people have had their views recorded in the VOX BOX, with some queing for over 30 minutes to have a go. The resulting vodcast campaign is currently being released via the Addleshaw Goddard graduate careers site, and whilst the full impact will not be assessed until the end of the recruitment cycle this year, the client has no doubt that the exercise has ensured they maintain a competitive edge over other Law firms and raised the profile of the brand.
