Senior Financial Analysts

You will support Abbott International in financial business planning and analyse actual performance, including financial information consolidations with other Management Accountants and Divisional Controllers. If you are a part qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent Accountant, this is a great opportunity to progress and work your way towards becoming Divisional Controller.

Supporting the Commercial Finance Group through Abbott’s Business Planning Cycles (Plan, Update, Long Range Plan, Latest Best Estimate), you will analyse actual results in comparison with these Business Cycles and support Senior Financial Management in specialised Financial Projects.

Assisting Business Plan consolidations with other Management Accountants and Divisional Controllers, you will handle monthly Headcounting Reporting as per Affiliate and Corporate requirements, and monthly Discount Accruals. The maintenance of Finance Understanding of Monthly Claimbacks (Discounts) will also be required, along with Purchase Order Database Maintenance and training Maidenhead users.

You will also support Month End SG&A Accruals, and the Finance Divisional Ambassador (Continuous Improvement), as well as covering Daily Sales Reporting. Preparation for Internal and External Audits will be required along with preparation of Sarbanes Oxley documentation and providing a reference point for the Finance department.

With some experience in Finance Planning and Analysis in a Sales company, you should possess, or intend on gaining, a CIMA qualification. Some Business Studies/ University education is preferred, and you should be a good communicator possessing excellent computer skills – especially with legacy systems, Excel and Lotus Notes.
